Green Building:
Poinciana Royale was certified through the Florida Green Building Coalition (FGBC), and at the time of completion was the 1st FGBC Platinum-rated Multifamily building in Florida.
All 50 units received a "Certified Florida Green Home - Platinum" rating, the highest FGBC rating in this class.
All 50 units also received certifications as "An Energy Star Qualified Home".
The landscaping received a Gold rating in the Florida-Friendly Landscaping Program through the University of Florida's Monroe County Extension. This program emphasizes water efficiency, native plant material, low maintenance, and best practices stormwater management.
